CDE’s Equity & Excellence Learning Series will be an online event spread out over June 16-17, June 23-24 and Aug. 4-6. Due to virtual learning room capacity, the limit for each event during the series will be 1,000 participants. District, administrative unit and BOCES leaders (e.g., Superintendents, Instructional Leaders, Recovery Plan leads) are encouraged to invite 10-15 staff members to register, representing the district and school levels to attend the Learning Series opportunities. Registrants may select which dates they wish to attend in the Eventbrite link provided below.
The 2021 learning series is designed to catalyze conversations about resources and strategies in the forthcoming CDE COVID Learning Impacts Toolkit and catalyze support and instructional shifts in School Year 2021-22 and beyond. The title is “Reflect, Reset, Reimagine: Tools and Strategies to Accelerate Student Learning and Well-Being in Colorado” and will focus on four key areas: recovery planning, extended learning opportunities, instruction and intervention, and well-being and connectedness.
An Equity and Excellence Learning Series webpage will be launched soon to share details on programming and speakers. Send questions to email@example.com.
Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9.
CDE asks that registrants submit their request for accommodations two weeks prior to the event start date of Wednesday, June 2. CDE will work to meet accommodations requested after this time, but it cannot be guaranteed.
