DoorDash is collaborating with No Kid Hungry to invite schools, school districts and school-adjacent organizations to apply for delivery support from DoorDash for the 2021-22 school year. DoorDash will be funding up to 100,000 deliveries, donated in-kind to select organizations.
Project DASH is DoorDash’s initiative to empower nonprofits and government agencies with last-mile delivery capabilities. Since launching Project DASH in 2018 Dashers have delivered food pantry and food bank boxes, meals, school supplies, mental health kits, home essentials, holiday items, and more, totaling over 900,000 deliveries and more than an estimated 15 million meals connected to people in need.
