Greeley-Evans School District 6 Nutrition Services Department

“Nourishing Students. Creating Success”- it’s at the core of everything we do. We support student achievement by offering healthy, scratch-made meals, and promoting overall wellness through nutrition education and reconnecting students with their food through robust Farm to School and School Garden programs. Our department currently offers every government-funded school nutrition program available. We also have been on a mission to kick out highly processed foods and completely revamp our system! This has included opening a Centralized Production Kitchen to support the preparation of fresh meals from scratch, sourcing local ingredients when possible, and putting a salad bar in each of our schools. Additionally, through our district’s Student Wellness Team, we provide extensive programming, including, but not limited to: assistance with healthy and active fundraisers; hands-on, classroom-based cooking and nutrition education; and a Student Health Advisory Council.
