The Colorado Alliance for School Health has recently published a Call to Action. Its intent is to define school health services, elevate the importance of these services, outline opportunities for health and education to work together to meet the healthcare needs of every student, and identify actions we can take right now to improve the health of all Colorado youth.
Impacting health where kids live, learn and play is an ambitious endeavor, and we can’t do it alone. When we organized ourselves as an Alliance in 2016, we knew that this massive undertaking of systems-level work would be bold, upstream and extremely difficult; we are doing it anyway.
