Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) is a national non-profit organization, raising the bar on the health of the whole child across the country. AFHK partners with families, school professionals and community leaders to create healthier schools and healthier families. Our programs and resources are designed to advance our three mission goals – that all kids, particularly those in underserved communities, are supported with:
- Sound and appropriate nutrition paired with physical education and activity.
- Safe, supportive environments where they can play and grow.
- Stable and nurturing relationships with adults.
AFHK is committed to working with schools and families to co-create effective, meaningful school-family partnerships to advance children’s physical and social emotional health, learning, and academic success.
