Reimagining Nutrition and Health Services for one Charter School Community
Chavez-Huerta Preparatory Academy (CHPA) is a K-12 Charter School serving 1022 students for the 2019-2020 school year in Pueblo, Colorado. Over the last two years from 2018-2020, the wellness team (comprised of staff from the elementary, middle, and high school academies and the Pueblo City-County Health Department) collected data and wrote a comprehensive health and wellness plan to address the health needs of the school.
