Smarter Lunchrooms & Local Wellness Policy Language

All schools operating the National School Lunch/School Breakfast Program are required to have a local wellness policy which can drive change in a district’s wellness efforts. This tool provides sample language to include Smarter Lunchrooms into the local wellness policy. Smarter Lunchrooms strategies can be incorporated into the nutrition promotion or nutrition education wellness policy goals.
