There is a significant amount of literature concerning policies, programs, and practices for comprehensive school health; however, there remained a need to curate the existing evidence-based strategies into a high quality and usable resource for researchers and practitioners. The creation of this website responded to this need.
This site is the result of a 3-year process conducting systematic reviews on evidence-based practices for the ten WSCC component areas along with seeking and revising feedback from experts and practitioners.
The purpose of this website is to provide school wellness practitioners and researchers an easy-to-access site where you can identify existing evidence-based practices and supporting material related to the ten WSCC component areas that apply to your needs related to improving health or academic performance in schools.
