The power of an education is incredible. I am honored, humbled, and blessed to be a part of public education.

My love for learning started at a young age. I have memories of playing school with my younger sisters. Many years later, I attended the University of Northern Colorado and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Secondary Education and a minor in English as a Second Language. A few years later, I attended Regis University and earned a Master's of Arts in Teaching and Learning. After many years in the classroom, I was inspired to become an administrator. I attended the University of Denver as part of their Program for School Leaders and earned credits for my principal licensure. I defended my disseration on the implmentation of literacy programming through the University of Colorado, Denver and earnerd a doctorate degree in Leadership for Educational Equity: Latin@ Learners and Communities in the spring of 2019.

This is my 20th year as an educator. I am a Colorado native and embrace every aspect of living in Colorado. My family and I work hard to play hard. We enjoy the swimming in the summer sun and skiing in the winter snow. When I get a chance, I enjoy reading, running, and creating memories with family and friends.
