As of June 19th, 2020 Aurora Public Schools Nutrition Services had distributed its 1,000,000th meal! Shannon Solomon (a HUB member) has led her team in the efforts to make sure that APS students and families have access to 3 meals a day since March 16, 2020. The District is committed to the service, and APS Foundation has raised a significant amount of money for costs incurred.
Shannon and her team are a testament to the power of community and caring, and I could not be prouder to share their work.
