“HOW” to Apply Racial Equity to Policies, Advocacy, Programs, and Service Provision to End Hunger
Submitted By: Rebecca Robbins | Greeley 6 School District
This is an incredibly interesting webinar that provides essential information on applying racial equity in a variety of ways to help end hunger. The presenter, Marlysa Gamblin, provides an excellent explanation of racial equity and a five stage process that helps ensure equitable engagement. The Racial Equity Methodology Tool is also presented, which is a tool to help folks start applying racial equity within their work.
I would recommend this webinar to anyone working in child nutrition, hunger-relief efforts, policy, legislation, and advocacy.
